This project is almost all wood made of 1" dia. custom logs (unplaned preferred pine recommended), 1/2" and 1/2" thick plywood and hardwoods. (Instead of custom-made logs, you could use 1" dia. dowels).
Cuttings from real tree branches can be used for most furniture parts and other cabin features.
Bears can be made from light-colored hardwoods of your choice.
Fur-like fabric for bear rug (approx. 8" x 7")
Optional 1/2" to 3/4" size rocks for fireplace and pillars on porch (rocks should be on the flat side.)
Two small hinges about 3/4" x 1" for the front door
Table or radial arm saw, scroll saw or band saw, drill press and hand drill, router
