Cat Mailbox Wood Project Pattern

Description: Cat Mailbox

Wood:
one 2X8 x 24" long board, #2 or better grade pine
one 1X8 x 60" long board, #2 or better grade pine
one 4" x 4" piece of 1/4" thick exterior grade plywood

Hardware:
screws-four #6 x 1 1/4" long, flat head
screws-fourteen #6 x 3/4" long, round head

Tools:
hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping blade
drill, 5/32" and 3/16" dia. drill bits
screwdriver

Supplies:
transfer paper, pencil & clear tape
sandpaper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
paint brushes-2", 3/4" & 1/4" wide brushes
wood glue-exterior

Paint:
white water base primer for a base coat (PRIMQT)

Deco Art Patio Paints:
PP41-carnation pink
PP14-white cloud
PP21-wrought iron black

Sealer:
high grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer for outdoor protection (#POLYQT)

Other supplies:
one mailbox, standard metal U.S. Mail
