JEFF JOLOKAI
DUCK LAKE ZOO

Very cool. l have been a long time customer of Winfield, as well as my deceased father. I grew up watching him make your crafts. I am 68 years old myself.
Combined, l'd say we have been loyal to your company 45+ years.
I live on a Duck Lake in Oakland County. On the lake, there are a finger of canals, not suitable for anything but wildlife, trees, tall grasses, open areas.
Throughout the decades, we have been placing the animals we create from your catalog along the shoreline, in the trees, in the grasses. Some are affixed to stakes in the ground. Some 20 feet off the ground in trees. Some on various lengths of pipe. This all lends to the animals' natural setting and appearance in nature.
Every weekend, hundreds of boats, full of visitors, make it a Must See part of their boat ride.
The life size elephant sprays water out of it's trunk at the passing boats full of zoo visitors, much to the delight of all on board!
There are now 3 or 4 generations of families who have enjoyed Winfield's wildlife! A couple years ago, the Duck Lake Zoo was featured in Lakefront Magazine, which features Oakland County.
We would love to send you pictures, videos of the zoo when it is up, in it's full glory. Every creature is taken down in the fall for storage indoors and placed back in their rightful locations every spring.
Perhaps you could use the images in a promotional endeavor for your company?
Anyway, thank you and we are grateful your company is around. I stopped by your shop there in Fenton two years ago and purchased the ready made Beagle and Family of Skunks.
I also made the Cat and Dog Fence Peekers YD258 and donated and installed to the Oakland County Animal Control/Pet Adoption Center. They are on display 24/7. During this past Christmas season, l added Christmas stocking caps!
I also made many large butterflies and donated and installed at Colasanti's Market on Milford Rd. in HIghland.
I approached Highland Twsp. about placing some of your crafts at their new skate park on M59 and Milford Rd. The lady l spoke with wasn't keen on the idea of the cat and dog, or whatever they chose from your catalog, but she did like the butterflies a brought in to show her.
I had not heard back from her.
l maybe need to approach the whole township board during a meeting. l would think they would eZmbrace my offer.
That area of m59 gets 100,000+ cars driving by every weekday.
In Highland we have an outdoor hockey area that is being renovated. It is at the Duck Lake Pines Park. I will approach them to see if they are interested in adding some ZEST to the otherwise drab area.
I do all this at my cost. l do not ask for reimbursement.
My father would be happy!
