Copper Pinwheels Pattern

Display these classy looking copper pinwheels in your yard, garden or near a walkway. They spin wildly in the wind and weather just beautifully.

Don't spend $35 or more to buy these when its so easy to make them yourself! Our full-size pattern includes complete instructions to make both a large 12" and a 6" size pinwheel completely from thin copper sheet, standard copper pipe and fittings and our parts kit (see below).

One 12" x 12" x 34ga. copper sheet makes one 12" or four 6" pinwheels.

Five 1/2" dia. x 24" long pipe, type L
Five 1/2" dia. pipe caps, type L
Five 1/2" dia. 90o elbow, type L

Hardware: Required for assembly
Ten 3/16" I.D. grommets
Five #8 x 2" long, brass machine screws
Five #8 brass machine nuts
One 16D wire nail
You may wish to purchase our hardware kit (W1510KIT) which contains the screws, grommets and nuts to make 5 pinwheels).

Tools:
Tin snips or heavy-duty scissors
Pipe cutter or hack saw
Drill & 3/16" and 7/32" dia. drill bits

Exterior, waterproof glue #E6000 (#GLUE6)
