Cedar Bear & Moose Birdhouse Plans

Uniquely shaped birdhouses are easy to make from layers of standard cedar boards and our plastic eyes. No painting required!

Mount them directly on trees, fences or walls using our flush mount hangers (#FMH) or hang them from eyescrews. Full-size pattern to make both the Bear and the Moose. (Up to 20" tall)

Projects require 2 #PE126 and 2 #PE127 plastic eyes.

Dimensions: up to 20" tall

Wood:
Select #1 grade redwood or cedar (knot free) or use a lower cost #2 grade lumber if you don't mind the look of knots in your project

Saw:
table saw or circular saw, band saw or hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting, non-chipping blade

(2) #FMH - Flush Mount Hangers

Sealer: High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer (#POLYQT) for outdoor protection is optional; no sealer is required if using cedar or redwood.
