Beautiful but not usable

I built the single glider and the love seat glider. Both turned out beautiful but they are both so tall and you sit back in them so far that I (5'6")can't touch the floor to be able to "glide" them. getting up off of them is not at all easy either!

Great chair, plans were fantastic and the chair is gorgeous. The gliding mechanism works fantastic.
