Hungry Bass Whirligig Pattern

The finished product is awesome. However the brass rod that moves the bass back and forth quickly wore in half. I had to replace it with stainless steel. I used a tig welding rod as a replacement.

This is a stellar project. I also experienced the brass rod quickly wearing away. Thanks for the tip Chris!

I would recommend future builders to pay special attention to the assembly procedure. I had mine pretty well done but couldn't get the tail washers in because I had the fins in place already. Also a little artistic ability is required. I'm not much of an artist but it turned out ok.
