Monster Mouth Entry Wood Project Pattern

You'll hear lots of screams and squeals this Halloween as kids discover the only path to your treats is through this huge monster's mouth!!

Make this fun project from three sheets of 3/4" thick plywood (not including the optional tongue ramp), a few 2x4s and our full-size pattern. Monster arms and back braces detach, hinged body folds in half for storage. (project measures 72" to the bottom of the teeth, 105" to the top of the eyes)

one piece 30" x 48" x 3/4" thick plywood
six 2X4 x 8' long boards

Hardware:
two 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" heavy duty hinges with screws (#BHNG17)
four 7/16" I.D. eyescrews (1 of #EYE2)

Tools:
hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting, non-chipping, scrolling blade drill and bits

Supplies:
transfer paper (#CARB), pencil & clear tape
sandpaper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
glue-all purpose adhesive E6000 (#GLUE6)
Paint pen medium tip for easy line painting (#PPENM)

white water base primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat
