one 1X12 x 24" long board, oak
three 1X6 x 96" long boards, oak
Buttons- twenty 3/8" dia. x 3/8" tall, oak
Spindles- thirty-four 3/8" dia., tenon x 11" long, oak
(If you don't mind the look of knots in your project use a lower cost #2 grade of lumber)

Mattress - #MAT2

Hardware: required for assemby
Screws- fifty-four #6 x 1-1/4" long flat head
Dowel pegs- eight 3/8" dia. x 1-1/2" long
Lag Screws- eight 1/4" dia. x 2-1/4" long
Swing Arms- four 9" long, metal

Tools: table saw, scroll saw, or band saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping blade, drill, 5/64", 3/16", 5/32", 3/8" dia. drill bits and a screwdriver

Supplies: transfer paper, pencil & clear tape
sand paper- medium & fine grits
wood filler- non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
paint brushes- 2", 3/4" & 1/4" wide brushes
wood glue- exterior

Stain: color of your choice

Sealer: quality, non-yellowing, satin finish project sealer to protect the wood
