Giant Yard Candies Woodcraft Pattern

Our full-size pattern includes complete instructions on how-to-make four giant Christmas Peppermints and two giant Candy Canes. The mints are approx 11" in diameter and the candy canes are approx 69" tall.

Dimensions:
Mints are approx 11" in diameter and candy canes are 69" tall.
Candy Cane is 23" wide across the top (the crook of candy cane).

Wood:
1/2" or 3/4" thick exterior grade pywood and standard 2 x 12 pine.
4 candy canes can be made on 1 sheet of 4'x 8' plywood
4 candies can be made from a board 2x12 x 4' long board.

Saw:
Hand-held sabre saw.

Other Supplies:
4 sheets of 30" x 36" clear cellophane & curling gift wrap ribbon.

Paints:
White primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following suggested colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:
2068 Christmas Green
2083 Fire Red
2505 White

Sealer:
High-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer (#POLYQT) for outdoor protection.
