Greet your Halloween guests with these Cool Cats you make entirely from boards salvaged from free shipping pallets!
Using wood from recycled pallets just makes sense...not only do you save money making this attractive display but you also help the environment by saving trees and keeping used pallets out of landfills.
Our full-size pattern includes complete instructions to make three size cats and the two pumpkins from reclaimed wood. Paint them a black wash to let the texture of the wood show through as shown or simply paint solid colors. Tie on some raffia to finish off your display. Uses six of our white oval eyes #PE301. (29" tall x 28" wide)
NOTE: Pine boards or low-cost fence boards can also be used to make this fun project in lieu of salvaged pallet boards.
Approx. two standard wood pallets
One 5/8" x 5-1/2" piece of rough textured fence board (for base)
