Product Description

Over 15 feet tall!! If you want to really draw some attention, display one of these beauties in your yard this holiday! But be prepared because people get so excited when they see this ginormas deer, they may just stop to take their picture beside it!

This project is gargantuan but not difficult to make. Just trace the huge full-size pattern pieces onto 5 and 1/2 sheets of 3/4" thick plywood, then cut out using a hand held jigsaw. After painting, most pieces just slide together (then come apart for convenient flat storage). A simple guy wire with anchor stakes is required and fully detailed on our pattern.

  • Worth the effort

  • Such an awesome piece...., My 15 year old daughter had not used a jigsaw before but we tackled this in our garage after work/school and 4 nights later, we stood him up just in time for our Christmas Eve party.

  • AWESOME

  • I WOULD RATE THIS PATTERN A 10. BIG HIT IN OUR PARK ! EASY TO MAKE FUN TO PAINT TAKES ABOUT 2 GALLONS OF WHITE PAINT . WE ADDED A PRE-LIT CHRISTMAS TREE AND FENCED IT IN SO NO ONE TRIPPED OVER THE TIE DOWNS . PUT A BLUE LED FLOOD LIGHT ON OUR DISPLAY AND IT MADE A GREAT CROWD PLEASER . PLAN ON USING OUR DISPLAY ON OUR CHRISTMAS CARDS THIS YEAR !!

  • Pattern could be better

  • Having paid over $30.00 for a pattern (picked it up at Winfield HQ's) so I didn't have to pay shipping, I was disappointed that you had to cut out different parts of the pattern to get the pattern transferred to the wood. I like to keep things neat and having to cut out the pieces basically ruins the pattern and for the price that is paid for it, it seems that Winfield would print one part on one piece of paper. So what if it adds a dollar or so to the cost, not having to ruin a pattern is worth it. That said, I love the concept but am going to add some reinforcement to the antlers where they attach to the head since I feel they are too loose without the extra bracing that I added behind the ears.

  • GINORMAS!

  • The finished product is awesome. The pattern is very easy to work with, although unless you have alot of free time it's easier to just cut it out as opposed to the tracing paper. Went together as described but I will say that the instructions are CORRECT and that you need to take into account the thickness of the paint otherwise it's difficult to slip together. We would recommend three adults to set it up which makes it easier. We love it! and we are thinking about making the Ginormas Sleigh AND the other Ginormas Deer. Thanks for the best and most tasteful yard decoration in the city!,
