Wood:
One 4' x 8' sheet of 1/2" thick exterior grade plywood, preferably 5-ply for better stability.
Three 2X4 x 8' long pine boards (#2 or better)
Hardware:
Screws -- Forty two #4 x 3/8" long round head.
Seventy nine #6 x 3/4" long, flat head
Eight #6 x 2-3/4" long flat head
Bracket - One "L" shaped, approx. 1-1/2" long (with screws)
Tools:
Hand-held sabre saw, with a smooth cutting, non-chipping scrolling blade, table saw, screwdriver, drill and a 1/8", 5/32", 1/4" and 1/2" dia drill bits.
Supplies:
Transfer paper (#CARB), pencil & clear tape
Sand paper – medium & fine grits
Wood filler – non-shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws (#WF8)
Paint Brushes – 2", 3/4" and 1/4" wide brushes and a fine tipped detail brush.
Glue – exterior wood (#GLUETB3).
Paints:White primer (#PRIMQT) for a base coat and the following suggested colors of acrylic paint or exterior semi-gloss enamel:
