Show stopper!!

Nov 16, 2013  |  Posted By Nancy Jette from Henderson, NV United States

My husband made this for me last Christmas season..it became a show stopper in our neighborhood. We live on a corner and it is visible from 2 blocks away. Next year, he is going to make the shepherds to compliment it! We'll start in the Spring so he can take his time..only had a week to do the nativity but bless his heart, he did it!!

More time that thought

Be prepared to spend some time on this project. You MUST have transfer paper. If you've read that you can cut out and trace the templates, you cannot. They are overlapping, so the transfer paper is a MUST. Looks beautiful in the yard and we have received many compliments on this! In a row of homes with reindeer and snowmen, ours stands out with the simplicity of this nativity.

Beautiful

This nativity scene is absolutely beautiful. There are many different designs that are nice, but this one is fantastic. Looks great with 1 or 2 spot lights.

Love it. Best Christmas present my husband could have given me.

Traffic Stopper

Dec 29, 2014  |  Posted By Kathy from Grandville, MI United States

This Christmas was at least #15 and home #2 for our Winfield Nativity. In both Ohio and Michigan we have lived in a high-traffic location. It is the first decoration to go up and usually the last to come down. We appreciate the simplicity of the design as a means to share our testimony to our community. We display our nativity with a spotlight which casts a perfect silhouette on our double garage door. We receive many comments from neighbors and passersby, and it is fun to watch the traffic slow or even stop in front of our home and sometimes take photos. We have even used a picture of it with the shadow behind as our Christmas card.

Great results! Better plans.

Just finished this project with great results. Pattern could be made easier by being printed on 4 X 8 sheets. Be sure to get 2 sheets of 4 X 8 transfer paper as some of the pattern has to be copied as "mirror image".

Great Item

Bought this pattern and very easy to work with. I did paint the Nativity with colorful paints in my own interpretation. Got it all done in a week and setup in our yard Friday after Thanksgiving as per our usual. LOVE IT!!!!!!
