The American Robin prefers to nest on a nesting shelf rather than inside a traditional birdhouse. This design gives Robins what they need while incorporating the features of this colorful bird.

An easy-to-make, simple-to-paint project using 3/4" pine or cedar, 20mm dark brown eyes (below) and our full-size pattern. (about 24" tall)
