  • I Built the Christmas Ferris Wheel


  • The plan was very easy to use and read, the details on plan were correct with the Ferris Wheel going together perfectly. I spent extra time on the detailed painting of the characters and they look great! I had an old garage door opener that I modified, stripped all the electronics out, just kept the motor, transformer, gearbox, and drive wheel. I machined an 11" drive gear to reduce the gear 4 to 1 reduction, it works great. Can't wait to put it out for Christmas. It took me several months to build it. Love Winfield's patterns, I've purchased many of them over the years.
