Why we Limit your Rights
The Winfield Collection has grown over the years to become the nation's leading designer of wood Projects. Our do-it-yourself customers have come to expect nothing but the best designs from us--fun, original Projects they're proud to make for gifts, their own enjoyment or to sell in limited numbers to supplement their income. Protecting our Plans, Patterns and our unique Projects for the ultimate benefit of our customers is essential to the future success of The Winfield Collection.

All of our Plans, Patterns and wood Projects are protected both by Federal Copyright and by placing restrictions on their use. Allowed uses are listed below under Your Limited Rights. Disallowed uses without written authorization from The Winfield Collection are listed below under Prohibited Uses.

Your Limited Rights

You are granted the limited rights listed below with each different copyrighted Winfield Collection Plan or Pattern you purchase from us:

1) You (or your immediate family members) may make up to 10 total finished Projects (in any form) from the Plan or Pattern as long as only traditional hand and power woodworking tools are used.

2) You may give away the finished Projects as gifts or donate them to charity.

3) You may sell the finished Projects from your home or at local craft shows, art fairs and gift shops.

Prohibited Uses

Any other use of our Plans, Patterns, finished Projects, and Images of the finished Projects (no matter who photographs them), not specifically authorized in writing by The Winfield Collection, such as, but not limited to:

Copying (in whole or in part)
Selling or Free Distribution of our Plans or Patterns in any form (photo, digital, or print)

Digital includes any file format such as .pdf, .dxf, .dwg, .svg, .eps, .jpg, .png et al.

Making derivative (similar) works based on our copyrighted works.
Making more than 10 of any one finished project.
Selling the finished projects on the internet.
- Whether your own website or online marketplaces such as Etsy, Amazon, Ebay, Facebook, Google et al.
Making Precut Kits
Using Automated Processes

CNC, Waterjet, Plasma, Laser, 3D Printing et al.

Overseas Manufacturing
Commercial Use

Unauthorized advertising, film, or television

PROHIBITED USES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
